Date: August 4 to August 17

Place: Anargyrios and Korgialenios School of Spetses Foundation (AKSS), Spetses, Greece

This year’s summer school of the research training group will span from modern trends in quantum optics, over computational methods for many-body problems, to quantum transport phenomena on large molecular structures, complemented by some reflections upon the meaning of truthfulness in variable settings.

Six lecture courses explore the motivations and the perspectives of experimental and theoretical research lines which expand the RTG’s portfolio into a broader AMO context.

A special seminar touches upon an cornerstone of good scientific practice – truthfulness – and upon the challenges which arise from the embedding of scientific practice into political contexts.
